Details: Job Summary and MissionThis job contributes to Starbucks success by managing the development and implementation of a portfolio of large or highly complex, global human resource (HR) projects, applying HR functional expertise and utilizing Lean and project management industry standards and best practices . As an HR leader, models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.Summary of Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consults or leads large human resource business process and HRIS projects to achieve business goals or objectives; ensures high client satisfaction in compliance with established company standards, practices and policies.Assembles and leads multiple interdepartmental and cross functional project teams. Determines project governance, decision making structure, training, change management and communication plans. Mentors and coaches team members; influences and leads their direction and results.Drives the creation and manages comprehensive project plans, detailing project schedule, resource and time estimates, quality requirements and success and quality metrics. Ensures completion of all steps required to obtain project funding and resource acquisition approval.Assesses project health and directs any necessary corrective measures. Applies standard processes for risk and issue management, ensuring critical risks and issues are proactively mitigated.Works directly with client base to understand HR processes and strategies and when to leverage technology and scope work in order to achieve desired business results.Influences operational and executive leadership to create and maintain alignment around the project business objectives, measurable benefits, success criteria, scope and constraints impacting project delivery. Leads discussions and negotiates across multiple functions to resolve project conflicts and competing priorities.Requires minimal direction in handling challenging or complex situations.
