Human Resources Generalist

Details: Department :  Human Resources Shift :  Days Hours :  8am - 4:30pm Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Director, responsible for serving as primary point of contact for Human Resource related issues in order to promote associate welfare and well being. As assigned by the Human Resources Director, this position assists managers with the interpretation and implementation of HR policies and procedures and works with them to evaluate and resolve human relations and work issues that adversely affect morale and productivity. Ensures that all HR matters are in compliance with hospital philosophy, policies and procedures and Federal and District of Columbia laws. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A. Education: Required - B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field. B. Experience: Required - Three to five years experience as a Human Resources Generalist. Three years experience in Employee Relations. Desired - Experience in health care environment. C. Knowledge/Skills: Required - Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems preferred Desired - Proficiency in computer skills. CB
