Recruiter

Details: Responsible for the sourcing, screening and referring of applicants for positions throughout the company. Responsible for filling open requisitions as quickly and economically as possible. Under direction of a Sr. Director, Human Resources - Field.Key Responsibilities:Direct employment activities to ensure efficient, professional recruitment and selection of superior individuals, including new store openingsCounsel Hiring Managers regarding procedures and company policies related to employment practicesParticipate in peer-level trainingCompletion of reports on employment activitiesAnalyze the information provided on a prospective employee's application, conduct a telephone interview and determine the suitability of the applicant for employmentAttend job fairs as neededAct as a liaison with area unemployment agencies, advertising venues, job fairs and employee referral programMaintain records on recruitment activities as requiredCorrespond with job applicants to notify them of opportunities and updates on status of positionsParticipate in the development and delivery of training programs for Managers to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnoverStay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitiveDevelop and maintain a network of contacts to aide in identifying and sourcing qualified applicantsPerform additional duties as assigned by HR Management
