Payroll - HRMS Specialist

Details: A well respected insurance company is looking the right person to join their team.  This position utilizes advanced Ultipro system knowledge to accurately process corporate payrolls per schedule. This role also supports the Sr. HRMS Analyst by maintaining system tables utilized for payroll and benefits, and analyzing software releases coordinating potential system changes with appropriate HR staff members.As a Payroll-HRMS Specialist, qualified candidates will:• Process corporate payrolls per schedule and reviews data for   discrepancies and corrects as appropriate.• Processes and transmits all vendor exports utilized for payroll direct   deposit, positive pay, payroll taxes, and multiple benefit vendors.• Balances payroll system input and output per schedule and reconciles   taxes in conjunction with corporate tax vendor.• Assists finance division with bank and financial account reconciliations as   needed.• Creates the year-end database utilized for W2 and 1099 generation   balancing to the HRMS and tax vendor totals and transmits data at year-  end file.• Processes and distributes all Cognos BI scheduled reporting.• Updates scheduled reporting as needed with Cognos BI changes and   creates supplemental Cognos BI reporting.• Supports the Sr. HRMS Analyst with Cognos BI report development.• Researches and responds to employee questions per company policy and   guidelines.• Assists with system table maintenance (affecting payroll, HR, and benefits).• Assists with reviewing software release documentation and coordinates   potential system changes with appropriate HR staff members.• Assists with testing and implementation of new system functionality.• Creates and maintains all payroll system processing documentation.• Maintains changes to processes and procedures related to vendor   updates.• Performs administrative tasks related to payroll function in a timely   fashion.  We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
