The Automation& Controls Solutions (ACS) division of UTC Climate, Controls & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Manager in our Bradenton, FL office. The successful candidate will provide support for various aspects of the compensation function for ACS, including annual salary planning, incentive compensation design and administration, recognition programs, as well as employment cost planning. This position will also be responsible for various levels of HR reporting, requiring data analysis and compilation.Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, ACS, the Compensation Manager will assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of compensation plans within ACS. This includes partnering with HR and business managers to provide assistance and guidance around compensation programs, ensuring compliance with annual compensation processes and systems. The Compensation Manager will also focus on delivering analytics that drive better and faster decision making across the business and provide solutions in line with the strategic business needs.Provide research, analysis, and documentation on human resources metrics, statistics, and processes.Partner with and act as an internal consultant with managers and supervisors regarding compensation issues, policies and procedures.Gather and analyze data providing relevant information / recommendations to HR / business managers.Assist in the design and development of incentive compensation plans, along with communication of those plans with management, leadership, and plan participants.Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures, recommending plan revisions that are consistent with compensation trends and ACS strategic objectives.Perform ad hoc analytical studies as required and recommend innovative solutions. Support special projects of varying scope as needed.
