Details: Summary:Assist with all aspects of Shaw?s Global Mobility program including International Assignment Management (?IAM?), global relocation, global immigration and communication, implementation and administration of compensation, and other related programs for international employees (expatriates, other country nationals, and/or local hires).Responsibilities:Serves as a focal point of information for operational management, human resources, tax, legal, compensation and benefits, and payroll regarding international assignment-related issues. Responsible for all aspects of individual international assignments including salary administration, premiums, allowances, and other special payments, relocation, employee benefits, International SOS, etc. Working with an expatriate workforce of 100+. Creates/reviews assignment letters and packages for short-term and long-term assignments. Acts as the main point of contact for assignees during their assignment and will address assignee questions. Identifies gaps in current policies and procedures and recommends solutions, keeping current with expatriate practices and trends. Liaises with host country project human resources managers and domestic HR business partners to ensure the smooth processing of mobilization/demobilization of assignees. Coordinates with outsourced relocation vendors, global tax provider and global immigration service provider. Develop, maintain and enhance business relationships with business unit leads to ensure visibility of the global mobility program. International travel may be necessary. Position will work a flexible schedule which may include evenings to support the business.Experience:3+ years of international assignment experience. Global immigration experience preferred. Ability to work independently and require little instruction on day-to-day work while adhering to the procedures and policies of the HR organization. Global Mobility Specialist designation preferred. Ability to build relationships through indirect communication such as: conference calls and email. EMEA and APAC knowledge preferredEducation:Bachelor's degree required.GPHR is preferredGMS certification is preferred
