Details: Position overview:Responsible for the administration of day-to-day Human Resources operations for functions such as employment, benefits and performance reviews. Provides guidance, assistance and follow-up to customers as needed. Assists in resolving problems and inquires. Essential functions:1. Assists with employment process, including administering drug/alcohol test and background check processes, administering weekly job posting process and performing voluntary affirmative action data entry.2. Processes health and welfare enrollments, changes and terminations, including COBRA notices.3. Performs monthly reconciliations for benefit insurance bills, background check bill, drug/alcohol test bill and employee gift bill.4. Processes monthly unemployment bill.5. Administers monthly performance review process, including running reports and collection of performance review forms.6. Maintains HRIS system data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity; performs HRIS system data audits monthly and runs reports as needed.7. Manages Client personnel actions in a thorough, timely manner.8. Prepares and sends voluntary separation notices.9. Completes employment verifications.10. Prepares and submits the bi-weekly Tennessee New Hire report.11. Processes retirement plan enrollments, loans, hardship withdrawals and terminations.12. Assists customers as needed with issues like drug tests, job posting, benefit forms, etc.13. Assesses workload daily and develops plan to manage backlogged work; makes recommendations regarding necessary overtime and manages approved overtime.14. Be knowledgeable of and comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements, at all times.15. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.16. Regular, reliable attendance, as defined in Goodwill’s attendance policy. 17. Other duties as assigned by management.
