Details: Large Financial Services Organization has a long term, 6 mos+ contract position, located in uptown Charlotte. Position Overview: Hours : 8:30 - 5:30 and possible one day 11:00 - 8:00, hours may be up to 50 per week.The HR Advisor plays a key role in providing efficient, accurate, and timely advice and counsel to both managers and associates on complex issues involving the Family Medical Leave Act, American with Disabilities Act, allegations of Sexual Harassment and Discrimination, Department of Labor Laws and other state/local employment laws and regulations. The HR Advisor collaborates closely with Human Resources Managers/Executives, as well as Legal, Corporate Security, Audit, Life Safety and Workers' Compensation partners to help mitigate risk and minimize exposure to the bank. Key Responsibilities: The HR Advisor will: • Consult with managers and associates via telephone to resolve complex HR-related issues. • Provide manager consulting services and guidance on HR policies and practices, including (but not limited to) performance management, disciplinary counseling, salary administration and work issues. • Provide discreet associate consulting services and guidance on sensitive workplace issues, including (but not limited to) allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination, conflict resolution and work issues.
