We are ready to make that investment in you!POSITION PURPOSE:Manages the compensation and benefits function for the division. Implements and administers compensation and benefits programs, policies, procedures, in order to be responsive to the company's goals and competitive practices. Assures through audits, reports and personal contact that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures, recommending plan improvements which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and Company objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to staff.Provides advice to staff on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including solutions to specific compensation-related programs.Manages the administration of direct compensation (executive, hourly, exempt and nonexempt cash compensation programs) for employees including the processing, recording and reporting of compensation-related actions taken.Compiles, analyzes, prepares and presents data.As needed, provides guidance and assistance to all locations on various employee compensation and benefit plans.Supervises the participation in, and conduct of, hourly and both exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.Surveys industry and/or community to determine company's competitive position in employee benefits.Develops costing processes to assure compensation modifications are determined in alignment with the Company strategy and budget.Administers employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; basic hospital, medical, surgical, and major medical plans; life insurance plans; disability programs; and accidental death policies.Conducts employee meetings and arranges for enrollment of employees in plans. Conducts employee benefit seminars for employees. Revises and reissues all benefits-related communications material. Advises and counsels management and employees on existing benefits.Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Maintains contact in person, and by phone or mail, with hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, employees, and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees.Supervises maintenance of human resources records. Supervises maintenance of enrollment, application, and claims records for all benefit plans.Keeps apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure Company compliance.Manages and develops team staff members to ensure their growth and career advancement.
