Benefits & HRIS Manager

Details: Scientific Research Corporation, a leading Research and Development Company providing innovative solutions focused on advanced commercial technologies in the development of wireless communications, information, and sensor systems for Government and Commercial industries, has an exciting opportunity for a Benefits & HRIS Manager, located in our Atlanta, GA location.JOB DUTIESBenefits:•Administer all employee benefit plans and programs (pension, 401k, medical, dental, vision, life AD&D, FSA, COBRA) maintain accurate records of enrolments, changes and terminations; process insurance premiums; and communicate changes with third party vendors.•Serves as primary contact for employees and managers as well as serves as a liaison to ADP and outside vendors.•Manage and resolve complex benefit cases and employee issues through analysis of situation, development of options, and as required, act as an advocate to resolve problems/issues with third party vendors.•Participates in benefits surveys and other professional activities to maintain competitiveness with the market. Benchmarking with external organizations to maintain a competitive and robust benefits plan.•Administers renewal functions including preparation of requests for proposals. Assist in rate negotiations with vendors. Reviews contracts, summary plan descriptions, agreements, etc., for accuracy. Manage and design, analyze, and implementation of new/improved employee benefit plans with vendors.•Develop and manage communications and materials to employees and managers. Works directly with vendors to create and/or update benefit communications including compliance documents, summary plan descriptions, handbooks, Open Enrollment and website materials.•Produce and distribute annual employee benefit statement.•Develops benefit training modules and delivery systems to provide the employee and managers procedural guidance and administrative tools.•Manage and ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining Plan Documents.•Work with auditors in periodic examinations of benefits plans.•Special projects as assigned which includes involvement in presentations, client functions and meetings.HRIS:•Maintains HR system tables to facilitate accurate timely entry and maintenance of employee data.•Maintains data integrity in source system by running audit reports and analyzing data.•Partners with HR and internal business units to assist in data inquiries and issue resolution through research, analysis and reporting.•Prepares, analyzes and maintains a variety of statistical reports. (i.e. headcount and turnover)•Works directly with HR end users to provide functional and technical support. Designs, develops and delivers timely and accurate ad-hoc and standard reports with Excel, Access and ADP for end users; provides analysis and Interpretation of report data as required.•Assist in the testing and delivery of new functionality of downloads and system changes.An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
