Bilingual After Hours Staffing Coordinator

Details: The Staffing Coordinator will have on call responsibility after hours and weekends. This is a full time position, working some hours in the office, with the rest on call, from your home office. Business Development Coordinator

Details: This opening is an administrative position supporting the Litigation Practice Development area of the Business Development Department, and will report directly to the Associate Director of Business Development for this area. The candidate for this position will be responsible for coordinating initiatives included in the development plans for the Litigation Practice Group of the Firm. Initiatives in these plans include assisting with new business pitches, matter collection, expert tracking and maintenance, trade organization participation, seminars and events, practice description content, and survey responses. The individual will also handle any other projects assigned by the Associate Director of Business Development. Essential Job Functions:Assist in the overall implementation of development plans for the Litigation Practice Group. Tasks include, but are not limited to, assistance with: business pitches and presentations; matter data entry into an Access database;  CRM data entry; seminar, event, and speaking engagement planning; practice description creation and upkeep; and general administrative support. The candidate may also be called upon to assist with various other marketing initiatives that intersect with other functional areas within the marketing context.

Recruiting Coordinator

Details: The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral role supporting the Recruiting function and contributes to the overall success of the Recruiting team by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and project coordination throughout the recruiting process. This position will require development of an understanding of processes for candidate management, benefits, relocation policy, government regulation compliance, company policy administration, and other related activities in order to provide support to Recruiting and Staffing team and company associates. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative support to the Recruiting and HR team. Prepare offer letters, relocation forms, referral bonus requests, and other recruiting correspondence. Maintain offer packets, updated forms, etc. Schedule onsite interviews, including domestic travel. Manage background check process. Enter new hires into payroll system. Generate weekly, monthly, and annual recruiting and HR reports. Work with ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to post jobs, generate reports, track candidates, etc. Work with contractor system to post jobs, generate reports, track candidates, etc. Track internal candidate flow. Interface with candidates throughout the hiring process. Review resumes to qualify candidates for job requirements. Provide research support via Internet. Perform basic searches of recruiting database for internal and external candidates. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate studies in Human Resources or related discipline preferred. Minimum 2 years experience in a HR /Recruiting Coordinator role. Advanced level knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience developing specialized Excel reports , specifically using pivot tables. High volume interview scheduling experience. Ability to prioritize and organize assignments to meet deadlines. Excellent file maintenance and organizational skills. Ability to effectively work independently and with others to support strong team development. Knowledge: Human Resources policies and procedures such as employment/placement, salary administration, processing systems such as applicant flow, and business clerical practices and procedures. Skills/Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills for frequent contact with all levels of office associates. MCLE Coordinator

Details: The Chicago office is seeking a MCLE Coordinator.  The primary focus of this position is to provide high quality support to Kirkland attorneys by tracking MCLE compliance in Illinois. This position requires a high level of collaboration with attorneys and staff, the ability to work independently, and the ability to follow-up with staff and attorneys as needed. Essential Job Functions: Master and interpret MCLE requirements and regulations in Illinois; Assist Department Manager in answering MCLE inquiries, sending updates and communications to attorneys, alumni and staff. Monitor and alert attorneys licensed in Illinois when their compliance period is ending and assist them in identifying ways in which to obtain needed credits to stay in compliance; Manage and maintain program tracking information in MCLE database, Reqwired; Prepare and issue certificates of attendance for all Illinois-based internal, client and co-sponsored MCLE programs; Maintain contact with Reqwired; Maintain the PLI master list of Kirkland & Ellis employees;  Assist Department Manager in communicating with Illinois MCLE Board regarding annual accredited provider status, grace periods/compliance extensions and course approval Apply to Illinois Commission on Professionalism on an as-needed basis; Assist Department Manager in maintaining accredited provider status including the upload of quarterly PCAM reports; Liaise with HR and Attorney Recruiting to ensure all newly admitted and newly-hired attorney Bar information is entered into all MCLE systems; Alert loss prevention team when an attorney is not in compliance with MCLE requirements; Obtain prior MCLE information for lateral hires and update the MCLE database; Prepare status reports and certificates of attendance for attorneys leaving the firm and provide status reports for alumni attorneys upon request; Communicate and collaborate with other offices on logistical and technical support; Assist Managers and Training & Development Coordinators with MCLE documentation to ensure in-house and client programs meet Illinois MCLE requirements; Maintain archive of all attendance sheets and evaluation forms for internal, client and co-sponsored event; Prepare a quarterly course evaluations report; Maintain MCLE certificate files for attorneys; Assist Department Manager in preparing statistical reports and budgets for training programs; Update and maintain training and professional development content on SharePoint; Attend Attorney Training & Development Department staff meetings; Serve as back-up for training programs as needed; General administrative support to the Firmwide attorney training department as well as the local attorney training department as  needed;    Provide excellent customer service; Other duties as assigned.
